Far Eastern martial arts are the main focus of our association as far as academic and practical actions are concern.

Our association is very active in many fields. We make not only academic researches but also teach old, traditional martial arts, hand-to-hand combat, appropriate use of weapon and effective self-defence. We also offer a wide range of sport trainings and workshops concerning the complete system of martial arts and the philosophy of wisdom of the warrior.

The genuine budo tradition is expressed by the pure spirit of sport; it is a way to achieve moral perfection and strengthen ones character.

We entourage you to acquaint with our activities and invite to cooperation.

Game, Drama, Ritual in Martial Arts and Combat Sports
1st IMACSSS International Conference

The International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS), the Unione Italiana Sportpertutti Area Discipline Orientali (UISP ADO), and the Laboratorio di Ricerca Sociale - Dipartimento di Scienze Motorie e della Salute Università di Cassino, Italy, propose the 1st IMACSSS International Scientific Conference with a focus on Game, Drama, Ritual in Martial Arts and Combat Sports. The Conference will take place from 8 - 10 June 2012 in Genova, Italy.

Shihan Wojciech J. Cynarski received on 5th February 2011 degree of 8th dan in judo-do / ido. Two certificates of international organizations are signed by meijin Lothar Sieber (10th dan judo-do / ido).

New Publishing Regulations - for Vol. 12 and next

"Ido Movement for Culture" is a periodical published by the Com­mittee of Scientific Research of Idokan Poland Association (Komisja Badań Naukowych, Stowarzyszenie Idokan Polska) in coope­ration with other institutions in Rzeszów and under auspices of the IMACSSS.

The periodical in question publishes original scientific articles on various aspects of physical culture, cultural tourism and the humanities (philosophy, sociology, history, pedagogy and psychology). It also includes reviews, polemics and surveys of publications concerning subject matter found in the periodical.
